The loss of your hair can be a traumatic experience for anyone, and both men and women lose hair for similar reasons. Most of us think that a healthy head of hair is a vital factor in how we feel about ourselves and our appearance. Sadly, the stresses of every day life are frequently reflected in our hair. The persistent use of abrasive and harsh hair products, dyes, permanents, and blow dryers can cumulatively do severe damage on our hair. The hair follicle cannot maintain a healthy growth cycle without the proper nutrients, so it is an important step to return your hair to its original state by providing the right nourishment.

The unique oils that are combined in Follicle Food have been formulated to penetrate deep within the scalp, increasing circulation, providing critical nourishment to the roots, in addition to combating an array of hair and scalp afflictions. The wisdom of ancient Eastern phytotherapy and the synergy of the oils utilized in Follicle Food make it an essential ingredient for maintaining healthy scalp and hair.

For optimum care and holistic maintenance of your hair, we recommend treating your hair and scalp with Follicle Food 3 to 4 times per month or as many times as you see fit. This treatment can be applied either in the morning, during the day, or late in the evening.

Morning Treatment: Before showering in the morning, massage Follicle Food into the hair and scalp with your finger tips, and leave it on while exercising, having breakfast, etc. Then wash out the oil. To remove the oil most effectively, massage the shampoo directly into hair without wetting it first. Then go under the shower, wet hair and shampoo a second time and rinse. Oil and water do not mix. If you wet your hair first, it may take several shampoos to remove the oil, thus weakening the effect of the treatment.

Day Treatment: Massage Follicle Food into hair and scalp using a scalp massager or your finger tips, then sit in the sun for 3 to 5 minutes to activate the natural life force of the oil, then leave on from l/2 hour to several hours. Never heat the oil. It will destroy its vitality. Wrap your head in a towel or use a plastic cap or a wet, heated towel. (Wet the towel, ring it out and place in a microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. In cold weather, heat the towel repeatedly).

Overnight Treatment: Massage Follicle Food into hair, saturating the entire scalp. Then brush in the oil all the way down to the ends of your hair using a Mason Pearson brush. Leave the oil on overnight and place a protective towel over the pillow. We recommend wearing a ski cap to bed when you yoil our hair for the night.
