We feel that one of the BIG causes of "body pollution" or "body terrain toxins" is that of the "leaky-gut syndrome". The gut needs to be "sealed" first and then the ph-factor can be addressed to clean up the "body terrain".
Keep checking the ph-factor AND protocol for metals/chemicals detoxification. When the ph is getting up around 6.0 (ideal is 7.0) on a pretty consistent basis, there is a good possibility that one can start doing the full tub baths! Those usually start about 1 cup and can go up to 3 cups lasting from 10 to 15 minutes at a time. (The ph neutral state varies with many authorities but Dr. Baroody's book, Alkalize or Die, states that the neutral state is at 7.0. At this state the body is more in balance and this condition will "automatically" start to clean up the "body pollution" or "body terrain"!) We feel that a person will really feel much better once they start addressing the ph factor and the "too acid" conditions reflected in metals. His book lists the food to greatly assist in this area.

"In case of emergencies involving gastrointestinal upsets, kidney stones, allergies and poisonings, quick alkalization is necessary. Use what is available and feel free to take more than one at a time. If the condition persists, seek professional help." from Alkalize or Die, by Dr. Ted Baroody.
1) Fresh lemon juice in 4 ounces of water, one tablespoon every 15 to 30 minutes.
2) Cream of Tartar - a source of natural potassium and highly alkalizing. 1/2 teaspoon can be used in emergencies to neutralize any acid reactions, etc.
3) Charcoal capsules or powder - Used for acid food poisoning or other stomach and gaseous upsets. Take 5 capsules or stir a teaspoon in 8 ounces of water.
4) Baking Soda (Arm & Hammer) - Will neutralize almost any excessively acid condition such as food poisoning. Use 1 teaspoon in 8 ounces of water.

Checking Your pH |

Disregard the first morning urine and only check the pH of the second morning urine (before breakfast). The next checks should take place again before lunch and before dinner. Screen before meals as the pH can vary temporarily following meals. We suggest taking the pH after the meals too and throughout the day to see whether pH factor has gone up or down. Keep a journal for a few weeks to see what foods take it up and what foods to stay away from or takes it down! Diet is extremely important in getting the pH at a higher level.
The goal for the pH level is 7.0 (neutral) and then LL's Magnetic Clay baths will "dump" better! According to Dr. Kellas, an environmental specialist in California, the pH is like that of a swimming pool. The same is true of our bodies, we need to get the pH high enough and the toxicity will lighten so that the body can handle the "dumping" process from the organs and soft tissue much easier.

Procedure for Urine pH |

Dip the pH strip into the urine and observe the color change (within 5 - 10 seconds).Compare the change of color to the color chart and determine the urine pH. Check the urine pH at different times of the day and note.

Procedure for Sputum pH |

Swallow your saliva several times before screening. Spit some of your saliva onto a spoon and dip the test paper. Observe the color change of the test paper and compare to the color chart. It is sufficient to screen your saliva twice within the week.
